This all-in-one Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) provides for a comprehensive system by which Plant and Systems of Work can be identified and assessed for hazard, risk and levels of risk. In addition to providing for employers requirements for assessment of installed and operating plant, the SOP also facilitates responsibilities involved in design, manufacture, import, supply, install / erect and use and provide documentation and process guidance to meet those responsibilities. Its objective, in conjunction with Practical Safety Contractor Selection media, is to also provide appropriate documentation to ensure that suppliers of plant and services meet safety requirements for those things.
