A Management of change system is a disciplined organisational process to strictly control the introduction, modification or deletion of plant, equipment, structures, substances and systems of work. This Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) aims to foster commitment and performance with regard to consultation and input, training and instruction to all who will be affected by any aspect of the change. Input (consultation) by others to the change process is integral to compliance with performance based health and safety legislation. Input by operational, maintenance and other personnel most always have a positive affect on the outcomes of change. Without that input organisational, operational, maintenance, health and safety and other risk is virtually guaranteed!
